Bambu Lab P2S

Compact, capable and suitable for makers and professionals

The Bambu Lab P2S is a high-performance FDM 3D printer for makers, professionals, designers, engineers and advanced users. The printer combines speed, precision and versatility with a fully enclosed housing, hardened steel extruder components and nozzle, a built-in camera and support for more than 20 materials, including carbon and glass fiber composites.

Powerful performance in a compact design

With a build volume of 256 × 256 × 256 mm , an enclosed frame made of steel, plastic and glass, and cooling via multiple closed-loop fans, the P2S is suitable for demanding applications. The printer reaches a maximum print speed of 600 mm/s , acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s² and a hotend flow of 40 mm³/s .

Smart technology on board

The P2S is equipped with a quad-core ARM A7 processor and an integrated Neural Processing Unit for processing print jobs. Control is possible via the 5-inch touchscreen, the Bambu Handy App or Bambu Studio. The built-in HD camera supports real-time monitoring at 1920×1080 resolution at 30 fps .

The printer has sensors for the door, filament run-out, filament tangling and filament odometry when used with AMS. The closed-loop part cooling fans contribute to controlled cooling during printing.

Material compatibility and AMS expansion

The P2S supports more than 20 filament types, from standard PLA to technical and industrial composites. Examples include PLA-CF, ABS-GF, PA6-CF, PAHT-CF and PPA-CF .

You can use the printer on its own or expand it with up to 8 AMS units : 4 AMS 2 Pro + 4 AMS HT . This provides 20 filament slots for multi-color printing with up to 20 colors, including for design studios, product development and education.

Temperature control without an actively heated chamber

The P2S does not have an actively heated print chamber. The enclosed housing and an automatic air valve switch between internal and external circulation to stabilize chamber temperature, which is especially relevant for technical and composite filaments.
