Material choice for Ultimaker printers

Ultimaker supplies PLA and ABS as printing materials. For the Ultimaker Original, printing with PLA is recommended. PLA is a biodegradable plastic and is therefore easy to print with. For printing with ABS, a heated print bed is recommended because ABS tends to warp when it cools down too quickly. That is why the Ultimaker 2 is the better option when you want to print with ABS.
