UltiMaker Method XL

The UltiMaker Method XL is designed for large-scale ABS printing and injection-molding prototyping. The printer combines a heated build plate, heated chamber, and dual extrusion for large parts with accurate dimensions.

VECT thermal regulation system

The patented Variable Environmental Controlled Temperature (VECT) thermal regulation system provides even heating and precise control over the print environment. Combined with the heated build plate, this supports adhesion and temperature control.

The Method XL is designed to maintain dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances and to prevent warping and layer adhesion issues, including with large ABS parts.

Quick-dissolving support material for ABS

RapidRinse support material for the Method XL enables quick support removal for complex FDM prints. It lets you print complex geometries in different orientations with water-soluble supports.
