PI Z2 filament is printable polyimide. This material is intended for printing parts that require high tensile strength and higher yield strength. PI filament makes it possible to print high-performance parts on a wider range of printers and can contribute to more reliable manufacturing processes. Parts do not need to be annealed after printing to perform well. Polyimide is a very high-strength polymer that is inherently flame retardant, has excellent insulating properties and offers excellent thermal stability. The PI filament meets EN 45545, R22 and R23 at HL3 level and is therefore suitable for railway vehicle applications.
Easy printability means high yield during printing, for example high output with fewer rejected parts.
