The color-changing silica gel desiccant absorbs moisture and keeps the air inside the AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT dry.

After the desiccant has absorbed sufficient moisture, the yellow particles inside will turn purple. Once the desiccant has turned purple, it must be replaced with a new bag, or the moisture-absorbing desiccant must be dried and reused.

Note: The desiccant must be removed from the sealed transparent plastic bag before being placed in the AMS 2 Pro.
