Production and quality control

All colorFabb 3D printing filaments are produced in colorFabb’s own production facility in the Netherlands. Because no external parties are involved in the production of colorFabb filament, colorFabb can ensure consistent quality on every order.

During production, laser measurement systems check the filament diameter in real time. The diameter is measured more than 1000 times per second. ColorFabb guarantees a tolerance of ± 0.05 mm for both 2.85 mm and 1.75 mm colorFabb 3D printing filament.

Within minutes of production, a spool of colorFabb 3D printing filament is sealed airtight in double-barrier foil. The cardboard box used to ship the product is also sealed.

The colorFabb test lab uses a range of common 3D printers. ColorFabb continuously tests on these printers to check material quality and develop new materials. Contact support@colorfabb.com if you are not sure how to print this material on your 3D printer.
