Production and quality control

All colorFabb 3D printing filaments are produced in the company’s own production facility in the Netherlands. Because no external parties are involved in production, colorFabb can ensure consistent quality for each order.

During production, laser measurement systems check the filament diameter in real time. The diameter is measured more than 1000 times per second. colorFabb guarantees a tolerance of ± 0.05 mm for both 2.85 mm and 1.75 mm filament.

Within minutes of production, a spool of colorFabb 3D printing filament is sealed airtight in double-barrier foil. The cardboard shipping box is also sealed.

The colorFabb test lab uses various common 3D printers to check material quality and develop new materials. For questions about printing with colorFabb materials, contact support@colorfabb.com .
