Fiberon™ ASA-CF08 combines the UV and weather resistance of ASA with 8% carbon fiber by weight. This provides high rigidity, reduced warping, and a matte finish.
With a bending strength of 69.1 MPa (XY) and a tensile strength of 43.5 MPa (XY), ASA-CF08 is suitable for load-bearing and precision parts.
ASA-CF08 has an HDT of up to 103 °C @ 0.45 MPa. This makes it suitable for enclosures, fixtures, and components exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
ASA-CF08 is available in 6 color options and has a matte finish that makes layer lines less visible. This is relevant for applications where appearance and function are both important.
ASA-CF08 supports print speeds up to 350 mm/s, is less prone to warping, and requires minimal chamber heating. This makes it usable for professionals and hobbyists.
Moisture and tangle free
Each spool is vacuum-sealed and tangle-free, so the filament feeds smoothly during printing.
Note: due to the brittle and abrasive properties of ASA-CF08, caution is advised when using it with AMS and other multi-material systems.
