UltiMaker ABS 750gr Red

Ultimaker ABS 750gr Red is ABS filament (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) on a spool with a net weight of 750 grams. The ABS colours are not translucent. The filament is intended for realistic-looking prints and has good roundness and consistency.

ABS is used worldwide in various industries because of its mechanical properties. Ultimaker ABS is formulated to limit warping, provide good bed adhesion and support consistent interlayer adhesion.

Compatibility and material choice

This filament is best used on the Ultimaker 2 . Ultimaker ABS is also designed for reliable 3D printing in combination with the ABS profiles for the Ultimaker 2+ in Cura.

Ultimaker supplies PLA and ABS as printing materials. For the Ultimaker Original, printing with PLA is recommended. PLA is biodegradable plastic and is the easiest material to print with. If you want to print with ABS, a heated print bed is recommended, because ABS can warp when it cools down too quickly. That is why the Ultimaker 2 is the better option for ABS.
