Ultimaker ABS 750 g Silver

Ultimaker ABS is ABS filament (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) for 3D printing. The filament is supplied on a spool to make printing easier, has good roundness and firmness, and the ABS colors are opaque. Net weight is 750 g. The filament is intended for prints with a realistic appearance.

ABS is used worldwide in various industries because of its mechanical properties. Ultimaker ABS is formulated to reduce warping, provide good bed adhesion and support consistent interlayer adhesion. This makes it suitable for functional prototypes, strong prototypes, complex end-use parts and mechanical parts.

Use with Ultimaker printers

This filament is best used on the Ultimaker 2 . For the Ultimaker Original, printing with PLA is recommended. PLA is biodegradable plastic and is the easiest material to print with. If you want to print with ABS, a heated build plate is recommended, because ABS tends to warp when it cools too quickly. Therefore, the Ultimaker 2 is a better option for ABS.
