Ultimaker ABS filament is ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) for 3D printing. ABS is used in various industries for its mechanical properties. This filament has been developed for functional prototypes, strong mechanical parts, and complex end-use parts.
The filament is supplied on a spool for easier printing. It has strong roundness and consistency. ABS colors are not translucent. The net weight is 750 grams.

This filament is best used on the Ultimaker 2 . Ultimaker ABS is designed for 3D printing with low warping. Combined with ABS profiles for the Ultimaker 2+ in Cura, it is intended for reliable printing.
Which materials can be used for 3D printing?
Ultimaker supplies PLA and ABS as printing materials. For the Ultimaker Original, printing with PLA is recommended. PLA is biodegradable plastic and is the easiest material to print with. For printing with ABS, a heated print bed is recommended because ABS can warp when it cools down too quickly. Therefore, the Ultimaker 2 is the better option when you want to print with ABS.
