UltiMaker PLA 750gr Magenta

Ultimaker PLA (polylactic acid) filament is a material for reliable 3D printing with good surface quality. The material is made from organic and renewable sources, is safe and easy to print with, and is suitable for both novice and advanced users. The filament is supplied on a spool for easy use. These PLA colors are not translucent. The net weight is 750 grams. This filament is well suited for use on the Ultimaker 2 .

Printing materials and use

Ultimaker supplies PLA and ABS as printing materials. For the Ultimaker Original, printing with PLA is recommended. PLA is a biodegradable plastic and is therefore one of the easier materials to print with. For printing with ABS, a heated print bed is recommended because ABS tends to warp when it cools down too quickly. That is why the Ultimaker 2 is the better option when you want to print with ABS.
