Ultimaker ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a 3D printing filament for functional prototypes and complex end-use parts. The material is designed for strong mechanical parts, with reduced warping and consistent interlayer adhesion.
The filament is supplied on a spool. It has good roundness and consistency. ABS colors are opaque. The net weight is 750 grams.

Use on Ultimaker printers
This filament is best used on the Ultimaker 2 . For the Ultimaker Original, printing with PLA is recommended. Ultimaker supplies PLA and ABS as printing materials.
PLA is biodegradable plastic and is the easiest material to print with. For printing with ABS, a heated print bed is recommended because ABS can warp when it cools too quickly. Therefore, the Ultimaker 2 is the better option when you want to print with ABS.
